Yes. All Softie products are dermatologist-tested, paediatrician-approved, and suitable for use from birth. They’re designed specifically for delicate, sensitive baby skin.

Always. We never use artificial fragrance or essential oils in any of our formulas.

Fragrance — both natural and synthetic — can contain dozens (sometimes hundreds) of undisclosed components and is one of the most common causes of skin sensitivity. Repeated exposure can be particularly irritating for baby skin, which is thinner and more absorbent. We believe fragrance should always be avoided on baby skin.

Softie products are formulated to be extremely gentle and to support the skin barrier, which can help keep sensitive skin comfortable day to day.

However they are not medical treatments. If your baby has a diagnosed skin condition, we recommend checking with a healthcare professional before use.

The skin barrier is the outer layer of the skin that helps retain moisture and protect against irritation.

Softie formulas use ingredients such as ceramides, prebiotics, and gentle plant lipids that work with the skin’s natural structure to help maintain comfort, balance, and hydration — without stripping or overwhelming delicate skin.

Yes. The No Rinse Cleansing Cream is designed to replace wipes in your routine.

Yes - Baby Cloud Cream especially is ideal during pregnancy and breastfeeding, it’s fragrance-free and formulated without unnecessary additives.

We formulate without fragrance, essential oils, and thousands of ingredients we believe don’t belong on delicate baby skin. Softie works to a strict internal exclusion list of over 2,400 ingredients, going beyond EU cosmetic regulations and typical clean beauty standards.

We’re proud to say our skincare products score 100/100 on Yuka, so you can feel confident about exactly what you’re using on your baby’s skin.

Yes, all of our skincare is vegan. We never test on animals. 

Note - our baby brush accessory in our gift set is not vegan as it has natural goat hair bristles for baby’s scalp.

Their facility runs on 100% green energy, holds an EcoVadis Gold sustainability rating — placing them among the top-rated manufacturers for environmental and ethical performance — and is GMP certified, a recognised mark of quality and consistency in cosmetic manufacturing. Ingredients are sourced ethically and locally where possible.

In our Softie giftset, our organic cotton pads and baby brush are made in China.

At least 97% of the ingredients in our products are of natural origin, calculated in accordance with ISO 16128 standards. We believe using naturally derived ingredients wherever possible is best for gentle, preventative care.

Our products are dermatologist-tested and created to be extremely gentle. However, every skin is different.

If you have concerns about sensitivity, we recommend patch testing first. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if needed.

Because our creams are rich and concentrated, your pump may need a little encouragement on first use — just tap the base of the bottle firmly on a surface a few times before pumping until it gets going. If it still needs a little more coaxing, remove pump, stir and re-insert before trying again.
